So, you say 'elves'. What qualifies?
Wellll. Haha, "Elves" is vague. The end. Basically we are look for fantastical humanoids who COULD fall under the "elf" category, such as, but not limited to:
Half-elves (or half any of the above or below listed)
Other forms of various creatures
However, we would prefer these to have a few basic traits if they fall under the last category: pointed ears for one, and then some other thing that would make them seem 'elven', like magic, or their manner of dress, or time period. You get the point.
What are the qualifications for artwork/literature?
I really don't care what level you are with writing or drawing. What I do ask is that your artwork is FINISHED. I don't want to be spammed with unfinished sketches!
PLEASE NOTE: Finished means not on notebook/lined paper! If you are going to go back in Photoshop later and it would then be considered a WIP, then fine, just indicate so in the piece.
What about WIPs (work in progresses)?
Those are fine. However! I'll only allow four stages!
-Linework (this incldes rough sketches to finished linework)
-Flats (just the first layer of coloring)
-Some level of shading
How many pieces can you submit?
You may only submit TEN PIECES per month! The gallery is intended to be a showcase of your favorite artworks and writings.
I want to help!
Awesome! Tell me with what- or if you are good at something, and I'm sure I can put you to work ;]
What is the difference between submitting as a Member vs. a Contributor?
Contributors get unlimited feature spots, as do the admins. I take those members which have been with the group for some time, and are very talented, and upgrade them to Contributor, should they so wish.
Members have the usual 10 per month submission rule, but may only have TWO Pieces in the featured folder. Everything else goes into one of the three sub categories.
